What this site does

This website serves informational pages, local images and a contact form. It has no accounts, analytics or application cookies. Fonts and animation scripts are served locally; the site does not load third-party widgets.

Server requests

The Nginx server records connection information, including IP address, requested path and time, in access logs to deliver and operate this site. Logs rotate daily or when they reach 100 MB. The server keeps at most 52 rotated files per log; an exact number of days depends on traffic.

Contact form and email

If you use the contact form, I receive your name, email address, chosen subject and message so I can reply. The website does not store your message in a database. I process these details on the basis of my legitimate interest in responding to a message you choose to send.

Resend sends the form email, and ImprovMX forwards incoming mail to my receiving mailbox service. These services process the message and email address. According to Resend’s data processing agreement, its main processing takes place in the United States and EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply to transfers from the EEA. ImprovMX’s privacy policy says that it may process information in the United States and Europe.

If you email me directly, the forwarding and receiving mailbox services handle your message outside this website.

Spam protection

To limit automated submissions, the form checks a temporary one-use token, a hidden field and submission speed. It keeps request counts by IP address and a hash of recently submitted message details in application memory for a one-day comparison window; expired entries are removed on later form activity or when the process restarts. This does not use a tracking cookie.
